The New York Islanders will play their Blue & White scrimmage at Nassau Veterans Memorial Coliseum on Thursday, July 10 at 7:00 p.m., the team announced today. The event will involve the club’s top prospects playing in an intra-squad scrimmage and then participating in a skills competition after the game. Fans will have the opportunity to see the future of the Isles organization on the ice, as well as take part in an autograph session with the players after the skills competition.
Tickets are available to the general public beginning today via the team’s website (www.newyorkislanders.com). Tickets are $10 each and all proceeds will go to the Islanders Children’s Foundation. More from the team:
Season ticket holders and prospective season subscribers will have exclusive VIP access throughout the Blue & White Scrimmage, as well as exclusive access to all on-ice sessions during the 2014 Islanders Mini Camp. Access includes preferential seating along the glass and the ability to high five the players as they enter and exit the ice during the scrimmage. On-ice practices at the 2014 Islanders Mini Camp are scheduled for July 8 and 9 at Nassau Coliseum. Season ticket holders and prospective season subscribers should contact an Islanders ticket representative for a full list of practice times and to gain exclusive entry to the on-ice sessions.
